SO upset not sure where to post this!

I have been a member here many years as most of you know.

I am disabled in an electronic wheelchair and have a certified thrapy dog.

I know you are asking what this has to do with my computer!!

Our senior apt. complex moved us out a year ago to completely renovate our apts. All this time, 5 yrs. that I have had my therapy dog no problems. Now I am to have an insert into her breeders letter that says she has been spayed.

Unfortunately, the breeder has left WA state and I cannot locate her and I have 3 days to get this done. Otherwise I will lose my therapy dog, can't take her with me, and she saved my life about 2 months back.

I have a copy of the letter from the breeder on my computer in PDF form. I just need to insert a small paragraph stating that because she was not show quality she was laser spayed before I got her. Period end of story.

I don't know how to do this.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I CANNOT GO ON WIHTOUT MY LITTLE DOG! IS THERE A WAY? I need to be told in very tiny "baby steps" how to do this or I won't be able to do it.

She saved my life when I took a really bad fall on Fri. and she go my cell phone for me. Otherwise I would have laid there all weekend.

I do not understand how to cut and paste here and I do not understand how to get the type or font to be the exact same size. Can you help?

Any local Veterinarian should be able to verify that she's been spayed.

Odds are real good that your property management company will work with you and give you more time. They don't want to stand in front of a judge and explain why they've set a disabled person out on the street.

I tried that online PDF program and to use it you need to pay for it before you can save the text you've entered and then download the new, altered PDF file.

Type the info you need on the pdf form where you need it.

You can change font size from the yellow toolbar near the top of the page (2)

When you are done click the little green icon on the far left to save and download the new pdf. (3)

Also, if you have any previous veterinarian reports, bills, etc on your dog it would normally say that it's spayed somewhere on the page. Any vet document I've ever got from a vet always gives those basic details.. sex, neutered, weight, breed, color, etc.

The manager there is not the property owner but is very hateful. I don't know what to do other then to use a program to insert this in the PDF. I will look at this other one but I am not computer savey. By the way it is against the law for "any" vet to verify this that did not do the spay they can lose their license I have already called my local vet I use now.

You can use the "whiteout" option to erase parts of the PDF document. Select "whiteout" at the top left of the edit window and then you can use your cursor to select any size square of current data on the PDF to delete it. Hold the left mouse button down and drag the cursor over the PDF document to change the size of the area you want to delete.

You can also undo any action by clicking the "DEL" button that appears near the top middle under the toolbar after each thing you've edited but it seems to work only for the one last thing you've done. If you make any unfixable mistakes you can just reupload the original PDF and start over since the original document remains unchanged.

You may want to work on a copy of the original .pdf file, in case you need to start over or re-try something.

How do I then attach the PDF to an email?

Are you using a web browser and a web mail account, or are you using an e-mail client program like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, etc.?

There should be an Attach function on the Compose Message window for whatever e-mail method you are using. For web mail, you may have to select a file (should be a Browse button), and then upload it.

If you're using a separate email program like thunderbird you should also be able to drag and drop the pdf onto the outgoing/compose message window but that won't work if you use a webmail interface from within your browser... in which case you'll need to find the "attach" button like jdc2000 says and browse to the pdf file to attach it.

Have you checked any of your bills or reports from your vet to see if it says your dog is spayed? If so I'd assume that would be more than enough. If you don't have any correspondence or reports about vet visits it may be worth asking for printouts of any previous visits to see if the description of your dog includes that it has been neutered.

I use Gmail. Alsocan you tell me how to center or letterhead?
