Aspire T160

Hi All trying to figure out if I can upgrade my cpu is there a way to tell
what I have and whaty is the max I can run.

What does Windows say you have now? (My Computer, Properties, or Device Manager)

Memory Type: DDR PC3200, DDR (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 4GB
Slots: 4

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.21Ghz is this a dual core
If not will my mobo support a dual core processor and to what speed

That program can tell you what cpu and how much ram you have.

Scroll down to Screen Image and top left you will note shows the info needed.

believe the socket was 939 is this something that can be upgraded to dual core processor if one exist

Check the Socket column for 939 for compatability.
