Been having a bit of trouble with my KVM switch losing keyboard and mouse so I started wondering.
Has anyone tried connecting two computers to one dual input monitor. My Sony monitor has two inputs and an input button on the front, so I guess it's possible. I realise I'd need two keyboards and mices but that's not a problem.

Two pc's sending info at the same time to the same monitor doesn't sound like a good idea to me...
I'm scared to try, although I've done a bit of digging and others have said it'll work. After all it works fine with TV's.
One machine -> two output screens is much different then Two machines going to one screen....Guess maybe if one pc was turn OFF...
Might get a better KVM switch...

Mine doesn't have the USB hub though.
I'd vore for replacing the KVM switch. Some work better and are more reliable than others. What brand do you currently have?

There is no problem at all in having more than one computer going into different switchable monitor ports.

My TK-400 came with all the cables needed. NO usb for me.

We have used the configuration a number of times here at work.....works just fine.
