Man shot by Cheney
Another thing that most mainstream media won't tell you is that the private property on which he was hunting is a "hunting" farm on which the animals are bred or bought then released from cages to be killed.
Could not agree more .. Been hunting all my life , you always know where the others are , and no one walks in front of you .. You shoot another hunter , See what happens to you ..
Must have thought he was hunting [old] coot :D

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported today that 500 farm-raised pheasants were released yesterday morning at the Rolling Rock Club in Ligonier Township for the benefit of Cheney's 10-person hunting party. The group killed at least 417 of the birds, illustrating the unsporting nature of canned hunts. The party also shot an unknown number of captive mallards in the afternoon.
I thought we had a bag limit in the Country .. Must apply to the working class only .. Wonder if the NRA are going to raise a stink ..
Doubtfull the NRA would get involved in this.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department would be another story...
Why isn't Cheney being held accountable for this? In this state if a hunter accidently shots another hunter he is charged with a felony. If the other hunter dies, he's charged with murder or manslaughter.
I've hunted all my life. I've also hunter Pheasant and the only way you're going to shoot another hunter is if you're shooting the birds on the ground. What a sportman our VP is.
Coming from Wyoming he's probably used to hunting by himself. At least John Kerry didn't shoot any companions on his photo-op hunting trip two years ago. And if Cheney had to nail someone, at least it was a lawyer. Maybe he thought it was Al Gore....or maybe someone called him Aaron Burr..... :D
Our VP can't raise his arms any higher because his pockets are laden down with all the $$ he's stolen for Halliburton and all the rest of his cronies ... :mad:Quote:

If Dick Cheney asks me to go hunting, I'm going. It's worth the risk. Besides, he's pre-disastered now, so it's safer than ever.
An accident is an accident, I see no reason to bring poltics into it.
Accident's happen all the time everywhere, hunting or elsewhere
And yes you can get hurt or shot by someone that is shooting at a bird in the air, Have been that route before. Theirs not as manny gun accidents as auto accidents just a matter of numbers. I really cant see why the press wants to make this such a big deal.
The reason politics is entering into it is because if it were an average Joe Puplic that had the accident he would be behind bars tonight. But, if it's a high ranking politician then it's all hush-hush and everything is OK. These people do not live by the same laws we do.
