thanks for the info
yay! Discovered some bugs in the beta version just last week, hope they have fixed them :)
Thanks for the heads up Nomad

I've had bugs in the beta also. I'll try to replace my version with the new one.
[edit] I just replaced it and this is great (everything seems to work - so far). I've been paying for a MusicNow account and it didn't work with WMP10 beta - now it does (none of my music licenses transferred with the beta). All of the other on-line music "stores" are now functional. Also, all of the buttons seem to work, although I haven't tried burning anything yet. It opens alot quicker, too.
I can't see if it's listed or not, but is this still beta????
Nope, this is the full version. Beta testing has finished.

Thanks :)
Just installed it :D
Went without a hitch. I uninstalled WMP10 Beta and WMP Beta Runtime before installing, just to be safe.
I like the new icons ;)
Only played a few songs so far, will give it a more thourough testing in the coming weeks.

For what it's worth, I downloaded it without removing the beta and had no trouble.
Yeah I wasnt too sure and I was too impatient to find out () so i just uninstalled the betas, rebooted and installed the Final version.
Hehe :D

I was afraid I might lose the songs (and licenses) that I've downloaded from the various services affiliated with the player.
I've downloaded, but do have a question. ¿With version 10, does it now have an uninstaller where as 9 did not?
I belive it is not an uninstaller as sucj, its a rollback. If you go to AddRemove Programs from the control Panel and select Remove for Windows Media Player 10 it will rollback to Version 9.
If you have XP WMP9 will not have an uninstaller as it will not let you to install anything older.

This is from the FAQ page.
If you have installed Windows Media Player 10, you can roll back to the version of the Player that was on your computer before installing Windows Media Player 10.
To roll back from Windows Media Player 10 to a previous version
In Control Panel (Category View), click Add or Remove Programs.
Click Add or Remove Programs again, and then do one of the following:
If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2, select the Show updates check box (at the top of the list), click Windows Media Player 10, and then click Change/Remove.
- or -
If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 1 or earlier, click Windows Media Player 10, and then click Change/Remove.
You can also use System Restore to roll back to the previous version of the Player.
