Now that is nice shotsi!!
And for those who would like to be able to hide their desktop icons and have only the wallpaper show, do a Google search for an app. that used to be named Cool Desktop by Bananas Software. It is/was a very small app. that, when installed, would hide or show those icons. I have used it for years and it used to be free. Maybe still is!! You might search oldversions.com to see it it is listed there. Good luck--if you want it.
Wow Shotsi!! That is really nice :D
My current desktop pic--In the early evenings, this pontoon will offer dinner by candle light in a slightly formal setting. Guess they are enroute there for their guests in North Florida located between I-10 and I-75--nice.
I had to "doctor" the pic to get it to fit within the 1MB allowance and think it is still OK.
that looks like fun buf! :D
If you're running XP, right-click any blank space on your Desktop, select "Arrange Icons By" then uncheck (click) the "Show Desktop Icons" option.Quote:

All the Icons on your Desktop should now be hidden.
(To hide the Taskbar, right-click a blank space on the Taskbar, select Properties, check (tick) the "Auto-hide the taskbar", click "Apply | OK").
To restore your Desktop Icons (and/or Taskbar) simply reverse what you just did.
Thanks SpywareDr for yet another way to accomplish the hiding of icons; etc. Didn't know this is an XP feature but since I already have the software I use, I'll continue with it.
You just have to be verrrrrrrrry careful with the after-dinner dancing.....Quote:
