Train, what's your opinion on where to buy "memory" in the next few weeks. There is an interesting thread on 98.

greengoose1: went to that link--pretty decent prices. If you can find prices that reflect anywhere from 45 to 50 cents per mb, you're doing good. Watch out for "bargain" RAM though. Better to stick with some of the more well-known brands such as PNY or Kingston. I'd stick with 64mb increments or two 128's. If one goes bad on you, you still have enough memory to run your system until it can be replaced--wouldn't rely on just one stick for all the RAM.
