Wow, it's fast as heck right now for me. You find it slow now?
The only real thing happening when i visit to do with speed is expected as it is when i open a lot of posts, when i've been out all day and come home, i check the new posts and because i use a tabbed browser (avant) i open all the new posts at the same time usually a full line of open links on avant, and then i notice upload decrease, this is probably due to avant opening each page in order and it starts to trip over its own tangled mess and slows up, but i expect this really trying to open 10+ links in this browser, so i have nothing to report. :)

We moved this forum to another server.
Why?
What did you identify as the problem, since this affected multiple servers, etc.?
Well we just decided to throw hardware, and thus money, at the problem. Seems to have worked. In the end I think it was a traffic vs. resources issue.
Well it's certainly much faster now, thanks for the results. But, I find it slightly disconcerting that no "cause" was actually identified. This is a technically oriented support "forum" after all, and a little more information would really be nice.Quote:

None of the other sites I visit and had up had any problem. That rules out my computers but which server was down I wonder. Very strange.
