My name is obvious.
I am a high tech piece of equipment which most humanoids are too daft to operate properly, thus needing sites like this to fix what they did to me and others like me. I have been running (most of the time) for nearly 3 years now (bought Oct.98), and that Ghouldini clown has banished me to a dusty cabinet table. I just know they will run DOS games on me from now on. That's loyalty for you. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

My own original cluster-f*ck.
As best I can explain it, there once were chat rooms in TheGlobe.com that My wife and I frequented. Her Nickname was Country26....she liked country music.
I was 3CDMan...the man part is easily figured out...but what about the 3CD part? Well it's like this sexual inuendo I came up with: How long is a normal compact disk play for? Let's say anywhere from 55 to 75 minutes...put three of them together and that was my "how-long-I-could-keep-it-going" time in bed. (Laugh if you must https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ ...but you will never know if it's true or not)
So to summarize.... my 3CD for Country26 (C26, for short...my wife) and there you have it:
3CD-4C26 (three CD for country 26)

I used to be a science & maths teacher for many years, and the place where I taught for the longest time - 14 years - was a TAFE (Technical And Further Education) College (not sure of the US equivalent). I was the first female teacher they had had in the science department. I think some of the guys started calling me Eggles (the first two syllables of my family name) to make me feel more like 'one of the guys'? Not sure. They all called each other by their last name, or an abbreviation of it. So I have been known as Eggles to a lot of my friends since the late 70s.
As it was a name I was familiar with and it sorta stuck, once I worked out it probably wasn't a good idea to use my real name, (which I did on the very first discussion board I ever joined - but only for a brief period). My password is one of the nicknames the family uses for our younger cat.
I use the same username and pasword at well over a dozen discussion forums.

Something to do with music which my other half came up with. also it doesn't give away any personal information and reduces the need for my other half and I to have separate 'identities' on the net hence reducing username and password problems. also, so far, it has not been used by anyone else on the net. we have a similar email address as well..
