Here's a funny story that ran in yesterday's Philadelphia Inquirer.
Maybe even you guys abroad and down under know about the tut-tutting American doctors have done lately about how obese we all are, what fat slobs, our cholesterol is high, etc. etc. This story involves a sendup of medical advice to Santa Claus.
Cheers
Wendy
  :DHe better watch out
Can Santa live long beyond 100 threads?
Doctors don't know everything Santa`s been on the go for years with no sick days off.Out in all that snow and rain without even a sniffle and long may he continue to bring that special gleam to a childs eye..........Its pure magic.
Lets see your local doctor shim up and down a chimney or two and see just how fit they are .......ba...humbug to them all :D :D
I got this from Little Stevie's radio show.
The Candy Cane was invented by a Pennsylvania confectioner circa 1865 looking to connect candy to the holiest of holidays. He chose a white peppermint stick; symbolic of Christ's virtues, added the colour red to represent His suffering in life, and used three stripes for the Holy Trinity and he bent the top to make it resemble a shephard's hook as Christ was the shephard of Christians.
My seven year old on the other hand said all of that was wrong. Simply holding it upside down he showed me it was nothing more than a "J" for Jesus. :D
I wish to take this opportunity and wish all Christians here a Merry Christmas and a happy new year, as for the American troops in my country Iraq, well .... i wish them a peaceful holidays, their job is a very sensitive one, you can never tell who is with you and who is not.
peace for all

I am in bright spirits! I have my holiday shopping done and I have a couple days off to see my family and friends! I want to wisheveryone here the best for the holiday season.
Also I want to mention that I saw the Trans-Siberian Orchestra play their Christmas show Saturday, and for anyone who is into that kind of music (Electric guitars, bass, drums and orchestra) I highly recommend this show. They put on one great Christmas Concert.

Why does everyone (who believes in our savior) think that the only time to think about him is during the christmas season?
Everyday of the year is a great day to talk to him or about him (in prayer or otherwise)
Another misconception....Quote:

Jesus is with us always. he does not need an invitation to come to his own party. I mean comeon.....would you give up the chance to have millions of people celebrate your birthday?
