If you are plumbing your house, My hat is off to you. Then again, I remember making some special high voltage tools using that stuff. Did not want to get tickled by 440V at 100 + AMPS.

greengoose, I figured that the phrase sufficient inner space just meant that it had plenty of space, for what every you wantd. But that is why I was wanting your alls advice on it. Also was wondering about the MB capability.
One other question, How do I find out what kind of MB my HP has in it? So I will know more about if it will work or not. Thanks....

Please remember to let us know if it worked or not...JJ

Basically you need to know what format it is--AT, Baby-AT, 'mini' (or 'micro')ATX, ATX; then pick the appropriate case. To I.D. the manufacturer, you can get the numbers off of it and go to
Motherboard Homeworld and find the manufacturer.
What's the model/number of your computer?

I remember Bistro saying the S500 had more room to work in and he and Train went into the subject of cases in one of the earlier threads. That's why mine will be an S500 or the full tower. Why the full tower. For modding etc. down the line. My advice is build on this thread and you won't make any mistakes. And ask your questions but don't delete them if later they sound silly to you. Use them to measure growth. With the regulars on this thread and the visitors that jump in you have it all going for you. These people are the tops in working knowledge of any anywhere. You would not believe how far you can go with these people in a short time and that's when you realize how much you don't know. That's when you can really start to learn.
For myself I feel privaleged to know these many fine people who help the rest of us. Take it to the bank.

Hey guys, want to hear a good one? I was going through my newly found yellow page directory. I go to the Computer Parts and Supplies section and find a place called "Computer Goodies". Needing to go out anyway, I don't bother to call ahead. Into my Honda I hop and off I go. Here's a transcript of what happened at "Computer Goodies":
ME: Do you carry ATX cases?
CLERK: Yes we do.
ME: Good, do you have an Inwin S500 mid-tower?
CLERK: No. We don't carry InWin.
ME: What kinds do you have?
CLERK: We have two "Generic" ones.
ME: What wattage is the PS. Is it AMD approved?
CLERK: I think it is 250 watts. What do you mean AMD approved?
ME: Has the PS been approved by AMD for their chips?
CLERK: It doesn't matter. It will work for all boards.
ME: Let's skip the case. What kind of motherboards do you carry? Abit?
CLERK: We don't carry motherboards.
Keep in mind, "Computer Goodies" is listed under Computer Parts and Supllies. And I thought I was lacking in hardware knowledge. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Better luck tomorrow I hope. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Train, Ran across this while I was looking for something else. Look down about halfway and you will see a fractul screensaver with an interesting feature. Besides that the whole site is neat.

Wait, I forgot the best part. When I got home and re-checked the yellowpage listing, they had a website, too. If you can call it that.
