I have decided to give JP credit for his non-christmas song by issueing executive order #001 which suspends the song selection rule this occasion only. Rules are still in effect.....
By executive order #002
The only current "special" challenge still on the table is for JP to write and perform his own song as mentioned earlier. His performance of this song would count the same as if a new singer had done a song ($5)...and is the only case where a singer gets dual credit for doing two songs. The Grinch-Maxx substitution is off the table now since BJ has already done that one.:D
Now......since we are just three singers away from reaching the maximum limit I set of $50....I would like to ask again if anyone would like to step up and match the pledges with some dollar ammount. Even pledging as little as $.50 a singer helps....and would $5 at most.
Finally....I would like to announce that I have one last sweetener for this pledge drive. It ends at the end of the day on Christmas day....and around that time I will be constructing a poll (or somebody will). In this poll will be one song from each of the singers going back to the beginning of thread. All members will have a chance to vote on which song they think is best. The winner will get a prize.....
The prize is a computer strategy game called Civilization III....and is a new unopened retail version which I will mail to the winner. If you have never heard of the game, you aren't much of a gamer...or have been living under a rock for the past few years. At any rate...it is a great game series....
C'mon folks....reach out and grab that Christmas spirit and send some cheer to Ana and give the gift of life. Pledge something.....anything....for our brave members singing for Ana. :)
NOTE.....this poll and prize offer will be null and void if it violates any terms of Jupiter Media sites. I have not asked permission in advance and if it turns out it is a TOS violation it will be withdrawn without argument. Okay, here's the deal: If we get one more singer - one that hasn't already done a song - I'll donate $25.00 for that song. It still should be a Christmas song, and if it's the Grinch song, or any Christmas song, that's fine by me. Think about it...you could even do a Christmas Parody - just keep it clean! I'll bet that Maxx and Poppy will still donate what they said they'd do, so come on! We need at least one more singer!
