Speaking of those full tower cases--word to the wise---if you go that route, you may have to purchase longer ribbon cables or you'll find yourself a few inches short of the motherboard connectors.
-
There ya go !
Mission accomplished. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
I'm goin' to look for prices on the video card.
-
bistro
thank you.
Will need to do some more shoping around as I think I remember a length limit there.

Oh good Train !
I got sidetracked and looked at the cases instead.
Is the In Win really slanted back like it looks ?
Looks wider too. The In Win has a place for an extra fan but the Enlight said Not Specified.

Good place to research for current prices; check reputability of vendors, etc. here
A couple of good review sites:
Dis One...and Dat One....
Stating the obvious here (I'm really good at that...), but remember as you're looking around the Net at video reviews/prices, check the dates--noticed a lot of review sites are quite old. One place (no date apparent) said that "a 2 to 4 mb video card is good for light gaming". Nowadays a card like that is good for target practice only.
-
Not too familiar specifically with those cards, Train. But for a budget card (150 or less), the ATI Radeon 32 mb DDR is considered one of the best. I'd take a serious look at that GeForce card--very nice.
My slant on the 64mb cards: really nifty if you want big and bad; but there currently aren't any games or apps that require that much vid memory--read an article that the gaming industry can't afford right now to make games that do---too many potential customers wouldn't have the resources to play it-hence, no sale. Makes sense. By the time that becomes a reality, they'll have more high-tech cards out anyway. Everyone who bought a 64 now will probably want to upgrade to a "better" one. The only reason I'd consider getting one at the current prices is for "bragging rights" https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ (Neener neener neeeeeener...mine's faster than yoooouuurs.... https://discussions.virtualdr.com/)

Ok...bedtime for bistro. Lots of good stuff here...I'm having fun...
As far as cases are concerned---lots and lots of good ones out there---hard to choose, but my next case will be this. I just like it's versatility and the room it gives to expand.
Can't really "recommend" it...I just like what I see.
Bye for now...

Thanks for the links. Like what I saw about the GeForce card. Believe it will hit the "list!" 4X memory should help in rendering 3d stuff.
Do not need stuff that has nothing for it!
Besides, most of the games are problably written for my 386 which has no cd-rom.
Ok by me. Will be checking mbs more. Kind of like asus features for athlons https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ ,600 o/c 800 and stay cool in games. Will Spend a little more on bearing type fan.
Still searching.
Have found in a few places, excellent prices and when adding shiping can get local for same price or better. Time to do window shopping also.

The GeForce 2 MX is that a 32MB card too ?
559.00 + 105.00 = 663.00 https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
....add another 100 for misc. tools and the inevitable unforseen things.
Oh yeah....tax. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
