I am a big astronomy buff so one of the usernames I had picked was this one.

Coolhand luke was the name of a character that Paul Newman played, and I thought it sounded ok....easy to remember,LOL. Sometimes I think I should change it to 'dumb as a rock' in this room it might fit me better.....

I was going to use ICUROK as a nick, which is a Klaus Nomi song ( I see you are okay) but the Cramps song God Monster seemed to fit me more. I use this nick everywhere, and on one IRC channel, can only use 9 charactors, so I left off the "e" because it seemed the least important letter in the title.

Ahh, the Cramps... I was the house sound engineer at a club in Ottawa (Beacon Arms) in 1980 when they played there. Quite a show. Psychcobilly over the top, frothy, sweaty, hi energy and f#!##!g great!

Here's my story...and I'm sticking to it !!!
When I was in the good old U.S. Navy way back in '71-75, I was in VAQ-33, an electronics warfare squadron out of N.A.S. Norfolk, Va. I was trained to be an aviation electrician and wound up becoming a "plane captain" for the ERA-3B Skyraider aircraft. That is the equivalent of a crew chief in the Air Force. The A-3's had a real personality...like some of the old classic cars...I really got attached to my particular plane and took my job very seriously...which was good because the plane had a crew of at least four...sometimes 6 people. The nick name for the plane was the "Whale", and quite often when you see film clips of planes crashing while trying to land on a carrier the "whale" made one hell of a crash!! I wish that I had stayed in the Navy...I would be retired by now...still rather young (50)..a good pension...still plenty of time to do other things and not having to worry so much about the next paycheck !! Oh well...Life goes on..!! Steve

I used to love the band KoRn - and a name of one of their songs is Freak On A Leash, I changed the spelling of Freak to PHreak and added Woman.
I used to use the nick Ga. Peach when in chatrooms, but soon found out, that about a million other people also use it and I wanted to be different and not like everyone else.
