A classic: King of Hearts
I was wandering thru the local library recently and a VCR tape caught my eye I haven't seen in 25 + years.
Made in 1966.
The basics of the movie are here.
It's a classic in the definition of true insanity, funny, and the rental price is hard to beat: $0.00 + a library card.
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
The film ends with the question of who is more insane, those in the asylum or the soldiers on the battlefield.
Give it a watch if you have a VCR and an hour and 1/2 to kill this winter: maybe on a snowbound day. ;)
Very thought provoking particularly since we seem to be in the same situation war-wise that the USA was in 30 years ago.
No contoversy nor philosophy nor gore.
Leaves the viewer to his/her own personal interpretation.
Entertaining ? ---> :D
