Loyalty to a party? Do you agree with and support everything your party does? If not...what does that say of your loyalty? And if you do....what does that say about your beliefs (are they your beliefs or someone else's)?

No offense buf....but your political position seems archaic to me. You are a political dinosaur by my way of looking at American politics. The party with which I am affiliated was heading in the wrong direction IMO. I felt that it needed a wake-up call and to that end voted the way I did. I would hope that when the democratic party steps off the curb....democrats will have the courage to put away party loyalty and and strive to make a change in the same manner.

I also voted for the one and only Green party candidate that was running in my area. (Congress as I recall)......

I also voted yes on a referendum to create a Veteran's Fund here in PA for men and women who served in the Gulf war. It would supplement their federal bennies....

I put a great deal of thought into my vote....and it doesn't belong to any party. It's mine.... ;)

Having gotten all serious here...I also point that I am joker and I will be making fun of politicians from all sides. You will just have to deal with that....LOL :D

If this thread becomes personal it will be closed. Keep that in mind.

Well, I don't 'think' I can get into any trouble when I report that Rush Limbaugh reminds me of the cheese that smells like, like I don't know what. I have no use for the person behind the voice; I do not listen to him but I think that was reported on TV.

Well, since I was one of those (I assume I was one) who got a head--er hand slapped, I don't get any mail anymore :) I gotta find a thread to start so I can 'talk' to someone----again :D

I haven't been waiting to see if anyone offered any type of an apology, not that one is needed---most assuredly not by me, but just thought of the idea. So, I say to anyone that if my words caused your skin to be hit with a rash, or has caused you to lose sleep or anything other discomforts, then I offer such an apology. I'd like to think that no words were written that can't be retrieved and let bygones be bygones. If anyone in this thread has a problem with that then you do have a problem; one that I regret contributing to.

BTW, has anyone begun to experience any type of slow down of opening or loading of a thread/post or in general just a slower responding VDR all over the board?

I think there was a patch applied to the forum software today buf, so that may be causing a slow down.

Thanks for the explanation Liam. That could explain why I had to log in 2 times also this afternoon.
However, the slowness was noticed 2-5 days ago but I was hesitant to mention it. Don't like to complain and don't like reading/hearing complaints. Have had enough of that during my life---didn't take too much to make me feel as I do, I might add.

No sweat, buf.....this thread was nothing compared to the knock-down dragouts I am used to. With those....I leave quite certain I am capable of taking another person's life.....LOL :D
