Need for Speed High Stakes and Underground are cool :cool:

Enter the Matrix game was awesome, I still play it from time to time and still do enjoy it :D I'm a Matrix fan as well

Homeworld, Cataclysm and Homeworld 2. I can't beat those games for the way they have been designed and its entertaining. Really enjoyed it :cool:

Ghost Recon with all the expanisions Desert Storm and ThunderIsland. Enjoyed it.

Delta Force series (similar to Ghost Recon)

SimCity series (for those who like building cities, I enjoyed it)

Dont enjoy, good question :rolleyes: I love the games I have at the moment. Considering I have upgraded to PIV 2.8Ghz with 1GB DDR 3200 RAM, 256MB ATI Radeon 9600XT and 80GB HDD for Windows whilst the 200GB HDD is my storage and it rocks! :cool:

Mind you back in around 1989, my Dad had a Tandy 1000 or the 386. I used to play all the old DOS games. Boy, were those the days, lol.

Anyway, in the past, I have been building up computers from scrath since I was 12 years old. Now I'm 20, considering I'm still studying and still working my way through the IT career. I still enjoy my career with no hesitation. I tell you one thing, I do plan to make my own operating system one day :D

And I'll be planning to make more computer games as well... but only time would tell :cool: Sooner or later, time will tell :D

teknoman2001, what a great idea! Make your own OS -- charge no more than half what Micro$oft does and still make a bundle.

Can I have first dibs, please???

Well, my favorites right now are Battlefield 1942, Halo anf Diablo 2 :)

I do have a problem though, and maybe you guys can help me, somtimes when i'm playing the controls will 'lock up' and will not respond, the game still runs, but even after dying the keyboard and mouse won't respond, this only happens with 3-D games, but it's rather annoying, as you can't even exit the game.

any help would be appreciated.

Two superb (but old) puzzle type games: Pandora's Box and Grim Fandango - best games I ever played.

Currently playing (or just finished) Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology/Titans, LotR - RotK, Zoo Tycoon/Marine Mania but mostly (all the time actually) Morrowind/Bloodmoon/Tribunal.

Dragorlad, make sure that you have the latest drivers for the graphics and sound cards, and the latest version DirectX V. 9b

Every once in a while (not often at all) I will play some of the SIM type games. The SIMS, SIM Golf, SIM City but those do get boring fast (for me anyways).I like Multiplayer games the best for LAN Parties.

freelancer had me for quite some time

I became quite addicted to Morrowind and had to pretty much force myself to stop playing it. I think it's a lot like Everquest, or should I say Evercrack. I've never played Everquest which is probably a good thing because by the sounds of it I'd never stop playing. Morrowind was very enjoyable even though the fighting scheme was pretty basic, the world was just so expansive. I stopped playing before either of the expansions came out, but I'm afraid to play them, since I don't want to lose my job by not showing up for work. :D

You also said you had played Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I'm just wondering what you thought of it because a review I read said the game was great but it was just too hard. Did you find it difficult to beat a lot of the missions?

You know...I had always heard that I would get addicted to Everquest if I ever started playing it. Everyone who played it was always telling me how great it was. A couple years later I picked it up and tried it for the free month. I did not get into it at all! I acually did not like Everquest (The only MMORPG's I have liked have been Lost Mercenaries and Graal) but everyone has there own tastes.

Graal was free and it was great a few years ago when I played it and it came with it's own level builder and programming language. You could build maps and submit them to be put on the server. Graal was very Zelda Like.

Well Halo and Freelancer got me going at one stage. Not bad game though. I would like to see the sequel for both games and see what happens next :cool:

Webshark2000, in regard to LOTR Return of the King. I found the attack on the Black Gate very very hard :cool: But I enjoyed it. Would anyone out there have tips for that mission, did it once as Gandalf but it was a flook :cool:

my all time fav game is sof1 (Soldier of Fortune 1) yes it isnt very realistic but i find games that are too realistic just arent that fun, thats why its in a game, is because in real life you couldn't do some of the things the game does. it is a FPS and gameplay is quite fast (another reason i like it). but there have been many great games mentioned on this thread and as a hardcore gamer i like what i read. GTA 3 and vice city are amazing games the world is huge in them. warcraft 3 is a great game. COD, Halo (i was lucky enough to test the game before it was released and multiplayer is great and the single player is just as stunning). many other good games but it really depends on what each person likes. not a pc game but my all time favorite game is probably Zelda: Ocarina of Time because not only was there action, but you also had to "solve" the levels to get through them and a great story as well.
