I noticed in going to other forums, what is there is also helping me. Again, the two way street.
QoH, getting closer to starting ordering the components. Has anyone noticed anymore big drops in prices than what we've talked about. In checking other forums that Bistro pointed out, I see we found pretty good prices all in all.

Greengoose as for the defraging, yes it does it up fine and what I use for a quick check is to say no when it asks if I want to quite disk defragmenting, and do it again.
Having done this with 98 and winme, with close observation I have to say that winme does a better job the first time thru. Now that has killed a few hours. VV had posted a comment about running 98 a second time to help clean up the fragments it missed the first time, this is what got my curiosity up about the subject.
Also, I have gone into my programs folder and dragged a bunch of those links into the Disabled Startup Items folder. Sure helped.
