Nah...once the prices drop, they usually stay dropped. But you have to be careful; there are some either very slow or very dumb, or very dishonest vendors out there who'll advertise components at yesterday's prices. Pays to shop.

Generally, prices are pretty much the same all over. Watch it though. Remember that "Mom and Pop" computer shops don't deal in large volumes, so prices may be a tad more (but those shops can be a great source for specialty and hard-to-find items). Larger computer stores deal with larger volume--prices can be lower; but in some, the variety is lacking. Net shopping is great, but you have to figure in the shipping and the interest on the credit card.
