I tried to do this today, but for some reason my mic just distorts. If I lower the volume it's barely audible and still distorted, and of course if I raise it, it's very audible and even more distorted. If I moved it further away from my mug, then softer passages aren't audible at all. How bout if I just edit out a tune from a vid I have of my last night at work, and upload it? Would that suffice?

That's what I planned to do. But I have to find some good free editing software. The tune is an obscure one none of you will know. It was recorded by Nat king Cole, written by Bobby Troupe, called "You're Looking At Me"
