Great for expandibility, but if there's no need for 5 or 6 bays, whatcha' gonna do with them? You could fill them up with the above Digital Doctor, a bay cooler, audio panel, etc.. Would look great; but looks aren't everything (I can't believe I said that... https://discussions.virtualdr.com/)---need functionality too.
Also helps to have a mobo that'll support at least two hard drives and at least 3 IDE devices (which the Abit BX-133 does). So if you want/need to go over to a full tower, you have the mobo to do it.

Painted the front panel a "hammered metal blue" this afternoon---it's drying now---looks great. Took a little while to mask the LED "prisms" on the front--pretty tiny. Looks so good I might do the whole thing in the same color (what? No "contact paper"??!? https://discussions.virtualdr.com/). Don't think I'll attempt to paint the CDs and floppy just yet...that takes a bit more effort. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Trying to figure out how to put a window in this thing...not much room left with those two side fans. Yeah...gonna keep them beige for now--still looks good against the blue. Just trying to decide whether or not to sand down the panels and apply primer first, or take my chances and just paint over them. Had a bad past experience with plexiglass--that stuff is tricky when it comes to drilling, I know.

I just don't understand the point in painting a fan https://discussions.virtualdr.com/....All the fans in my case are behind filters, save the rear exhaust and top blowhole. Couldn't see the color anyway...weirdness... Looks like a mod that only the modder could appreciate.
I wonder if that overkill party did the mobo also? Might explain why the webpage has not been updated.
They had not thought of filtering the air, or that would have been painted too.
