Quick question, I noticed when I post, the description under my screen name states "Virtual Med Student." I am, by no means, a med student (not yet anyway). Does anyone know how I can fix or change this???

You can't change that title. It's part of being a member at Virtual "Dr (Doctor)". When you join you become a Virtual Med Student, as you accumulate posts, that title will change.
And yes, this works backward, first pages is older than last pages.
Unless there has been a rule change for new users, this can be done by going to User CP>Edit Profile> and writing your own title under Customer User Title. Welcome to the forums :)Quote:

I see. Wasn't aware of that.
The rules changed when we introduced the new lounge and the specialist group, as there was a post milestone of 2000 to get specialist status, there is now a small milestone to be able to change titles, and i think to play with avatars etc.

Yes, you need 1,439⅔ posts to do that kind of thing.:)Quote:

Considering the amount of info I have about computers, I probably won't be able to contribute in helping others much, in which case, I would really need to have a lot of problems with my computer before I can change my title ;) . I'm just kidding. I hope I don't have any more problems.
This site is great. I'm happy I found it :D .
ummm Usil, what was the question?? perhaps can we as a new person or rather why can't we as new people post html in our queries and responses:confused:
To post images you need to host the image on another site, like Imageshack or photobucket, then paste the image tag or url here. You can't use html code as that option is turned off for everyone, not just new members.
HTML is disabled.
You can post your graphics to your own webpage too.
UBB code does work.

Hello everyone,
Well, let's see. I live in Southern California -- near Magic Mountain for those familiar with the area. I'm 53 years old (still can't believe it!). I live with my wife, my son, and our cat who, is the REAL owner of the House.
Grew up in Minnesota where I spent about 17 years building hearing aids and about 25 years playing music (weekend warrior). My wife, who also grew up in Minnesota and in true entrepreneurial spirit has opened up her own restaurants. Yepper, that's right two of them at once. Needless to say, I don't see much of her LOL.
We have three boys -- two from my first marriage who live in Minnesota, and our oldest who lives here with us. We have six grandchildren all of whom, unfortunately, are back in Minnesota so we don't get to see them very often.
I'm retired for health reasons and I spend most of my days working in the anti-malware community. Keeping up with all the nasties is basically a full-time job and definitely keeps my mind sharp.
I hope to get to know the folks here as I have at the other forums I belong to.
