My favorite is WordWeb. I use it everyday.
Irfanview for me.
this thread is great, 6 years and still on, maybe it is time to list down all these good proges so it will be a reference to all
Actually not a bad idea.
A list with the number of referals to each would be good
Then see which one gets most votes, and how many are freeware
PIXresizer 2.0.4 (Photo Resizing tool) from http://bluefive.pair.com/
PIXresizer is a tool for quickly generating screen-friendly versions of your images with dramatically reduced file sizes. It is a photo resizing program that enables you to quickly resize one file or a selection of image files for use on the web and in e-mail. A great companion for webmasters and digital photographers.

Have either of you compared FastStone to Irfanview, which I've used for many years?

This is an interesting thread, good Idea.
I like and have used for what seems like forever, these 3 programs.
"Irfanview",I luvit, "Mysendto", cant live without it and The Powertoy "Image resizer", unfortunately Microsoft hasn't adapted this one for Windows 7.
Hope I haven't just missed this but, Search Everything
I don't think there's anything out there that can search your PC like it does!
FastStone Image Viewer

Beats Irfanview in my book.
