If we raise the voltage, current can go up but with more current, the resistance would rise creating heat which would slow things done, I thought. Back to digging. Thanks.

QoH: Yep, they're mine--took the plunge. Soyo SY-7VCA2 and a 933 PIII FC-PGA. Still playin' with it. Trip to WR was uneventful--told me the condition may or may not be permanent.
