INteresting results. I shared the whole folder where the program resides (on the OTHER user account), and my regular user account can see it and start it. Now, i can see that folder from the Program Files (86) on both. That is good.
When logged in as the regular user, i can double click on the .exe file from the OTHER user account and launch the app. Yay... however, it is the wrong version! It launches the 3.0.1 version (which was the version i had before all the trouble started), while the newer version, which is installed and working on the OTHER user account is 3.5.0.
Right now, i am a bit puzzled. I CAN use the 3.0.1 but how come using the exact same folder, and exact same file, i get a different version of the program? I can live with this for now, but wondering if i did something wrong or if it says something about my system.
Thanks.

You are not the only one who is puzzled. It looks like both versions are still installed somewhere. Try searching the entire hard drive for the .exe name using the administrator account to see what results you get.

Stranger and stranger. There is only one exe file that is available:

The other files are installers.
-
If there is actually only one .exe file, and both users are using that one, then you are getting an incorrect reporting of the version number on one user account. Does the program have all of the latest version features available?
-
I can check but i don't even remember what were the newest features.
I know that one version, 3.0.1, when it is running, it has the big orange button on top saying "download the newest app version", while when the 3.5.0 version is loaded, that button is non-existant. That was my first clue that a different version was loading.

If you are getting a different user interface when the different versions load, then both versions are still installed on the computer somewhere. You just need to find the newer one's .exe file. They can't both be the same file.

I really wish i knew how this was happening. I did a search on both drives (I have two HD) and on the C: i have only that one .exe file i have in the screenshot, and on the E: i have only the installer.
I have nothing in the Add/Remove program for AnyMeeting (on the regular regular account).
I could have tried REVO to remove anything left behind but i had a trial version and it is expired. Anything else could be used as an alternative?

What program does Task Manager show is running for each of the two versions? There has to be a difference.
-
OK, here are screencasts for what i see on both accounts:
The regular account (where AnyMeeting does not want to install): http://screencast.com/t/DK3dPZOBtZv
And the OTHER account (where AnyMeeting was installed): http://screencast.com/t/DK3dPZOBtZv
Can you make sense of those?

Both of those links point to the same screencast - the one where you are running AnyMeeting on the problem account from the shared folder. If you have a link to the other screencast, please post it.
The AnyMeeting tech support personnel should probable see those screencasts. They might have some ideas.

The video you posted that was from the user account where the later version of AnyMeeting works did not show the Task Manager Processes AFTER you showed the user interface window for AnyMeeting, so I did not see if there was only one AnyMeeting process running at that point. Also, it might be helpful to right-click on the AnyMeeting desktop icon and select Properties, then copy and paste the contents of the Target box here so we can see which actual file the shortcut is pointing to. Finally, since AnyMeeting was running in Processes and had an icon in the System Tray / Notification Area, there must be a startup entry for it somewhere. If you download and run AutoRuns, it should show you where that entry is and you can then find out which .exe file is being loaded at startup. Posting that information here would also be helpful.

Sorry for the delay again. I don't know why i am not getting the notifications :(
On my "regular problematic" account, i do not have a desktop icon for AnyMeeting. I don't have a shortcut, and i don't get anything from the Start menu. On the "cooperative" account, here is the screencast of what is happening with the Task Manager : http://www.screencast.com/t/ty6gYx6t3
The program, from the shortcut on the desktop of the cooperative account, seems to be located here:
C:\users\Carole\AppData\Roaming\AnyMeeting
Since i could not see that path on the "problematic" account (i can see C:\users\Carole\ but from there, no AppData is visible), i decided to Share that path from the cooperative account to Everybody. That still didn't work as i could not see the path on the problematic account.
Then, on the problematic account, i simply typed in the path on top and i could see the content of the final folder, still without seeing the listed folder on the left. But since i could REACH it with the direct path, i created a shortcut from there, onto my desktop. But when AnyMeeting starts, it is still the old version, and i still see 4 processes in the Task Manager.
I am really lost and it makes no sense to me.
I downloaded AutoRuns and ran it but i am not sure what information is useful or how to use it.

With AutoRuns, you would look for anything related to AnyMeeting on the account where it works and is the latest version. It should tell you exactly where the file that runs at startup is located, so you can verify that it is where you think it is.

Have been following this thread and after seeing your problem and what you've tried I'd be tempted to try this: Uninstall everything you can associated with AnyMeeting. Delete all folders associated with AnyMeeting. Use REGEDIT and delete everything associated with AnyMeeting. Reboot the computer and install the 3.5.0. version.
