Other boards are available, depending on options needed.
They aren't any good for an 17-920, jdc2000, it need to be an LGA 1366 mobo. Unfortunately, all 1366/X58 mobos are on the pricy side, though they are half the price they were at the beginning of the year. I think you may have to be prepared to up your budget little if you are set on socket 1366. Or you could consider going for a Core i5 and an LGA 1156 motherboard - the mobos are cheaper and there isn't a big performance hit at all.
Read a lot of good about the i5-750 2.66 GHz cpu.
The items I suggested would work with the old CPU, not with a new i7 CPU.
Looks like it is going to be the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 and the xms3 ram instead of the dominator.
That is a fine choice of mobo and RAM :)
I went for the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P for my build, with Corsair XMS3 memory.
Well I would like to thank everyone for their help on this issue it was greatly appreciated. The parts for my 1st build should be hear on Monday and I will try to get started on Tuesday. Wish me luck and thanks again.
