I went out for a few last night too .... wished I hadn't ... I've gotten too old I think ... nothing but kids.... it was rather depressing ;)
Here there are so many bars/pubs/clubs that it's no problem finding a place that matches your age group.
I know .... not much choice in a one horse town though :D and the closest bigger city is Saratoga and that is a big college area and Lake George.... forget it .... every kid in a 50 mile radius is there :D
I'll settle for a couple Smirnoff's at home and harassing you guys :D
That's why I love it here. See, I HATE all modes of travel. I like being there once I arrive, it's the getting there I can't stand. So because everything is close by, it's quick to get to.

Depends on the time of day. At rush hr. or when it's raining you'd have a better chance of curing cancer than of grabbing a cab.

1 NY's eve the office puts this keyboard player on the job, and he was blind. After the job (a nightmare in itself) I had to get this guy a cab, in Times sq. on NEW YEARS EVE!
Fortunately I got lucky, it only took about 20 minutes.
