It's taken me three attempts to get this reply in.

poppy4: I believe the flash killer in SWB is for IE only.
Nix: The current flash is 8.0 r22. It's my understanding anything lower may be security compromised. You can check your version in FF by typing about:plugins in the address bar. EDIT: Grrr! BBoard software is placing a smilie in my syntax! You should type about (then a ":" no quotes) plugins
If you need to upgrade, here is the uninstall link. Do that before loading the new one. (You might remove flash anyway and see if your crashes are gone??)

To upgrade, here the latest http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ Which ever browser you are running when viewing the page will bring up the correct version for that browser.

I found an extension called flashblock and installed that.
I'll see how I go on Monday when I'm back at work.

Well I wasn't in yesterday but I'm back in today and doing my usual amount of browsing, so far so good.
