Max, I still haven't gotten a case yet. Even though I did see that it matches up to the MB in the Emachine, which means it should work in another case. I haven't told her yet. So I will wait and see what I decide to do....lol


Train, the info from the Smbios does a whole lot the same thing, just not as quick and easy. But with following Mosaics instructions on using it, I got it fine.... Thanks again for everyones help with this chase of MB's......

Max, i'll tell you the truth. I would not lie to her. I have told her that I dont know if it will fit or not. So she doesn't know what to expect. I also told her that if I got the new case, and the HP guts wont fit, then I am going to build. So I basically have to try the HP first. After all, like I said before, it isn't a bad PC.....

I'm going to buy a new pc within the next 2 months. I don't know what to get, but I want something seriously kickass. Of course once I have it it's going to be modded to the max.
Any thoughts would be good

Suggest putting one together, two reasons, you know what is in there and you can fix it.

Not hard either. I built jr here and QOH built her's here in Operation Delta also.
P4's at present are slow. In fact a Duron 800 is faster, https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ They may need to rewrite the programs for it.
What do you do, that will kinda dictate what you want to buy.
