Got mad last night and taped a u shaped piece of paper to the input fan casing and aimed the airflow across the video card. Also to check out.
Outcome : No lockups today and the cpu is now at 87 degrees.
So going from the factory pad to silicon heatsink compound dropped the temp by about 5 degrees F. [2 C.]
Then ducting the air across the video card it tends to push the heat to the case fan.
And the outcome is a much cooler system.
The temp of the air coming out of the powersupply has dropped from 100 - 105 down to 83. Nice difference.
Now to see about side panel and top.
Like the Global Win FOP32-1 and now going to check out the coolmaster. What I am using now.

As I recall the original plan had a money limit but on a case, that would not have made that much difference. But, in studying how ya'all worked the fans and ductwork more room would be helpful in that you would have more latitude to have a more efficient cooling air flow.

And concider, so might have had a problem with ribbon lengths, I could have mounted a nice quiet 300 cfm squirrel cage blower in there [seperate ac source] to move the air and on the intake side ,manifolded it to the 40 degrees outside.
Yes it would be kool aid.
