If it does like it did in Feb 77 nobody will be driving.
The only time I riped a gate out, snow was to deep aand could not see it, and not get into trouble. We got a hold of a tanker of fuel oil, got a earthmover with a blade on it, and got that oil into the fuel tanks for the barracks. Had to ski, snow was to the eaves on two story buildings in places. All I can say about that is WHAT A MESS IT WAS!

I love "deep snow" stories https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Why, I remember the snow being so deep in '77, we had to parachute in to work...
Just kiddin' ya Train--I do remember the storm of '78--Ohio was the worst hit state and the county I lived in was the worst hit in Ohio. Took a week to dig out.

Anyway, where do we stand now on this project? What are the plans? What is the average rainfall in the Amazon River Basin? Need answers.

For my part, I am waiting for a couple things. I picked up one free magazine [not the good one] and found 128 PC133 for $59 which I think is close to the bottom as far as price goes. So when I get [if]the bonus, I will start buying. But, will start in Jan. anyway.
I like crosscountry skiing but not in blizzard conditions.

Did either of you see where the warranty stuff was at that infotech site ? I see the Pentium III in 866mhz but for that price I want to be sure it has the three year Warranty. Some on the other site up above Train posted last night were lots cheaper but only had the 30 day or 90 day warranty. I want the three year. It is listed under support. Not good at all.
They are local about 10 miles from here. I figured it would give us some Idea how prices were going. Must admit, I have not heard anything bad, But???? in my own mind.

oops ,should have read before i sent,that should have been ,mobo,cpu,installed,tested and with a 3 year warrenty

or....was that a 3-year old CPU, pretested mobo, pre-assembled RAM without a warranty, but tested chassis....?
