OK, I'll assume no one knows this. It was, and I quote, "an immense project to make crankcase oil edible after 5000 miles". In reality it was an excuse for Col. Wartman (the general's aid) to keep Frank Burns busy.

awww..... sorry JP .... I got sidetracked tonight :o
No worries. Ok, so since no one got that one, let's do another. Odd couple? What was their address? Number, street, and apt. # (wooooooooo, that's mean)
I don't have a prayer with the 'Odd Couple'....
I liked the show...but not the follower like I am with some of the other shows mentioned so far..... ;)
I'll leave this one to the other folks..... ;)
I took a shot. We can nix that one. (Sorry Nix, nothing meant by that ;))
No....let it ride for a little while. Someone may come along that knows it.... :)
74th street and Central Park West?
Close, that would be the corner. It was 1049 Park Av. apt. 1102. You'd have to be a real OC freak to know the apt. Ok, someone else do one.
ahhh ok :)
Well...... back to MASH then ...
What was the name of Col. Potter's horse?
I think his horse's name was Sophie.
That name came to mind anyway....
and you would be right :D
Your turn!! :)
Probably too easy but:
What does M*A*S*H stand for?
Mobile Army Surgical Hospital
Also, My Aunt Shirley's Hairy
CORRECT!
Sorry about your Aunt though :p
Ok, my turn again. What's Col. Potter's grandson's name?
Ok, it was Corey. What was the name of the book and it's author, that BJ receives in the mail and the whole company goes nuts waiting to read it? A murder mystery.
OH man ...... I can't remember the name of the book ..... but I do remember it was missing the last page of the book :D
I'll leave this till maxx can have a lash at it.
Yeah I'm sure he will know ........ he's like you ..... He knows everything!
:D
Gotta tell ya....that is one thing about MASH that used to aggravate me...the constantly changing background stories of the characters. For example...Hawkeye started out with a mother and father and sister. By the time the series ended he was an only child whose mother had died while he very young and his father was alone.
Potter was the same way...the just kept changing his "story"....
I can recall that Potter had a grandson named Cory...but also one named Stuart. Don't know if he had two...or the same one whose name was changed for some reason. He also had a granddaughter named Cheryl in the epsiode where he is on the phone questioning "My grandson is a girl....?"
I think Margaret's story changed quite a few times to allow for the visit of her father in one episode.
So....I am not sure what the kid's name is....LOL :D
Yeah that bugged me too. And you're right, Margaret had a younger sister in one episode, Radar had an older one. Never mentioned again.
Didn't Hawkeye mention his parents "summer home" in Crabapple cove.... and he lived in Vermont .... Then he no longer lived in Vermont and grew up in Crabapple Cove.
I don't recall....
I do know that it seemed like after the first season or two...everybody's biography got re-tooled.
Potter started out as being from Nebraska....then later from Hannibal MO.....
I think the MASH staff needed a continuity guy real bad....LOL :D
I think you are right :D
And he went from having a sister, to being an only child as was said.
Ok since no one answered, the book was "The Rooster Crowed At Midnight" by Abigail Porterfield. Since no one's getting mine, someone else have a go
;) ...... ok here goes.... something from the MASH set is now in the Smithsonian Museum ..... what is it?
Hmm, I dunno that one, but I'll guess either Hawkeye's robe, or Radar's teddybear
Whoops....sorry.....I missed that question. :oQuote:

I would have gotten it too.....
Here's one from All In the family....
Archie appeared on a TV editorial and had a plan to stop plane hijackings. What was it...?

Yep...you gotta love the simplicity of Archie's mind..... :D
I do. That show is absolutely top shelf in everyway. The writing, the casting, and the 2 best actors I've ever seen on american tv (Jean and Carroll)
Ok ....... answer to mine .............. its Radar's Teddy Bear :D
Sorry for the delay ..... I was posting in the Headbutt thread :D
Which item from AITF is in the Smithsonian?
Actually that should be which ITEMS, there's 3 of em
It has to be their Chairs :D
Ohhhh and the endtable between??
DING DING DING!!!!!!! No more calls please, we have a winner
Yaaaaaay!!! :D

Complete this Quote from MASH:
"I've eaten a river of liver and an ocean of fish! I've eaten so much
fish, I'm ready to grow gills! I've eaten so much liver, I can only make
love if ____________________________!"
......... and as a bonus ..... who said it?
