Choose the fastest disk (probable de new one) and leve it alone, the slowest with the cd. If you don't want to install all again, you shoud copy (and i don't know how, whith norton perhaps) the old disk into the new (first install the new with the cd, copy, then install the old with the cd)

Cloudman, I dont think you will mess up your system. To do what Mosaic1 suggested follow these steps and it will come out fine...

1. Put in you bootup disk
2. Reboot (Or bootup) your PC
3. when the menu comes up (If your using a win/98 bootup disk) Hit the option (I think #4) for command promt only.
4. At the prompt type fdisk (Should look like this A:\>fdisk
5. Hit option 4 for view
6. View the partitions on your drive and see what you have. Then click on the Main Partion and set it to active..

BTW, if you do this yourself you will alot happier for the accomplishment you have done.. Like I said, I dont think you could mess it up, just as long as you follow the above and dont hit the key to delete the partition. Which will ask you if you are sure you want to delete before it will allow it to happen..... Goodluck on whatever road you decide to take.....

Ode to Operation Delta:

My old system was starting to fade
So I decided to do a major upgrade
Went to the store and bought some stuff
(The damage to my wallet was kinda rough)

Now I'm looking at all these parts
And suddenly realize I don't have the "smarts"!
What's "This"???What's "That"? And where do they go?
Is it Part A to Part B? The hell if I know!

I dropped to my knees and began to pray
"Dear God, I'm dumb. (What can I say?)
Please tell me what to do, where to go, I'm at a loss!

OK folks---I know you're reading this thread....anbody with questions on building or modding? ("Modding": cute techie term for 'modification'--the art of taking a perfectly fine case, cutting holes in it for 20 extra fans, painting it with wild colors like "Baby Puke Green", adding so many blue LEDs to it that a pilot flying overhead mistakes them for night landing lights, adding a window on the side panel so you can see when your overclocked CPU bursts into flames, putting a blue neon light inside the case because it looks so "cool" in the dark (but now you can't see the keyboard), and otherwise totally redesigning the thing).
