I checked Youtube and a couple other sites I know.....but they only have selected clips, not the whole program. I'll post the link....but seeing just the clips is not the best way to judge what is being presented. It's the ultimate "out of context".....

So, there is a buffer adjustment in WMP and in Quicktime that I can adjust? Thanks, I'll take a look and see what I can do.
Edit: I'll also look at the Google player....
Yeah.....for WMP there is a buffer setting. More here:

Don't know about Quicktime....and as I say....don't know about streaming Flash as to how or if a buffer setting can be changed. However...the easiest way is let the video start playing and then hit the pause button. Then go about your business while it downloads and come back when you have most or all of it locally cached.;)
Thanks, I adjusted the cache in Quicktime...it was set to "0" and I set it to about 500Mb. I also increased the delay time...maybe that will clear things up for Quicktime.
I didn't see any settings available for the Google player. Oh well...I can do as you suggested or just let the whole thing download before watching...no biggie either way.
I'm gonna look at WMP next...it's the one that I seem to use more than Quicktime.
Global warming has caused the cables etc to slow down.
Especially the CPUs on the servers which have thus throttled back.
:D :D :D
I agree....it's gotta be that pesky global warming.....:p
Either that or the 2nd shooter on the grassy knoll.
There are a lot of chicken farms around here...maybe all of that chicken s_ _ t has permeated the cables...:p
Well, it's simple we need to control the sun, solar winds, and clouds. Then we can control the weather. LOL
Actually without co2 we can't live either. I remember from school learning that we breath in o2 and give off co2 and then the plants in return breath in the co2 and give off o2 for us.
If we are forcing africa to use solar and wind power why are we not doing more to use it here. I don't know anyone who actually uses solar power for energy. It's not very reliable and costs more than fossil fuels.
Politics and press coverage. I think they are the cause of global warming if it exists. Even before viewing the video I didn't accept global warming as being caused by man nor the ice age. I just hope we aren't going into an ice age.
Isn't it in 2027 that that giant asteroid going to destroy earth anyway? So why get all worried about global warming or entering an ice age.
I feel that this thread has too many posts and the carbon dioxide it has produced is contributing to Global warming. I have a way of solving the problem though, I am going to put up the tax on keyboards, that will sort everything out :D
And the earth is flat .... still! Could we please talk politics and religion here too!? Oh wait, me thinks we are... oh wait, better throw in the media too. They are the root of all evil as we all know...!
Damn, Abhoth beat me to it.
The Earth is flat..
Anyways, I think there's actually a lot of truth in both sides of this particular argument.
Warming (and cooling) is cyclical but picture this... Last time there was a major warming cycle what did the Earth look like?
A lot more green (I remember where our Oxygen comes from, do you?), oceans that had their full stock of life and a relatively unpolluted atmosphere.
What does it look like now?
Decimated rainforests. Half-empty oceans and our waste in the air.
Of course the current warming cycle is going to be amplified slightly.
How much of a change does it have to be to mean a major influence on weather and life on earth?
I'd say a lot more than the "global warming" alarmists would have us believe but also a lot less that the flat earth society (that shows what side I am on in case you thought I was fence straddlin') would have you believe.
So yes, man has had an impact, but it's not ALL our fault.
Of course the earth is flat.....it melted into a puddle because of all the global warming! :D
BTW....just throwing this out there for everyone to chew on. According to recent studies of Mars.....it is warming up too. Naturally....we don't have anything near enough evidence on Martian climate history like core samples to draw any conclusions...but it certainly is an interesting development in the light of solar activity being mentioned now as a climate changer.
Must be all those pick-up driving Martians.....:D
BTW...Hiya smurfy....good to see ya.....:)
