Vdr is easy but try with Gmail. I don't think they allow that.Quote:

For the most part critical updates patch vulnerabilities that impact the health of the internet overall. If it's a localized threat, it's typically a different type of update.Quote:

I wonder how you keep it in Yahoo mail. Got any ideas?
I want to thank anyone in advance that can help me. I just bought a computer from a friend of mine and cleaned it up a bit. When I connected it to the internet I did an update and received this message.Quote:

I have a genuine copy that I can install but I cannot seem to get it to work?
Now that this fake copy is in how do I go about reinstalling Windows XP?
Any help would be appreciated....
Thanks :)
Reformat it, Google will tell you how. :D
Thanks
Just put the CD in the CD-Rom drive, and choose the Clean Install option.

There is another option available to you instead of formatting.
You can buy a legal version of Windows XP (you mention that you have one but it can only be installed on one computer and it must be a retail version, not OEM), then call Microsoft and have them explain you how to change the serial number to make it a legal version.
Good point Usil, I keep forgetting about that. Here's a Knowledgebase articles that explains how to do it (it works for all keys, not just volume ones):
