Post Count - Based On What

Looks like I lost my post count again! The last time this place crashed not only lost the post count, could not use orginal screen name. Never got a response from the "Web Master" back then either. In fact seriously doubt there is such a person. Sent a message this morning to the "Master" and no response yet.

Anyone have a good link to a free proggie to kill that space wasting banner on the right. Not only is it distracting, but is down right ugly.

PS: found that I can hide the banner by clicking and dragging the edge over to the left

I started the post because I lost about 3 but I think that's the least of anyone.

However on the upside (for me) this post seems to have been the most viewed 400+

Nearly as much as I have posted.

I wonder what the cut off point for "inactive" posts was.

not only do I lose roughly 1900 posts in postcount, but, but...

but... "butter" is gone :(

not that i had oodles like some of the big guns or anything...but i had almost baby-stepped it to 1000 :)

what's weird is that some posts still exist with me listed as a Senior Member and 400+ posts but i can't edit them or anything like that...it seems like i'm in the database twice?

if i am in the database twice, that would explain why i keep getting doubles of the email notices (like lost password, board announcement, etc...)

odd but thankully painless and cosmetic :)

Interesting! When I signed back up the other day, the my registration date reverted to the actual original registration date, but kept my actual number of posts.
I sign on today, post a message and it's back to the post Y2K registration date and I have lost all my posts. Go figure.

Apparently a large number of post counts have been fixed because everyone here has a good number of them.

Being fairly new myself here...Do you get a t-shirt or something for so many posts?:D

I don't have any idea why I got lucky with this change of the board., I lost about 350 post count back in late '99/early 2000_ no biggie, I only do about 500 posts a year, at least so-far. Absolutely love the new options/vB code...
