One step ahead of you. I've had belarc for quite a while. I use it to track down the software I couldn't remember downloading. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
But I had a brain fart, and downloaded the newest service pack for windows, and IE 5.5 SP 2 and belarc don't go together hand in hand.
Soooooo......I downloaded a little program called cpu ID. I'd really like to say that it's made me any the wiser...but it actually hasn't.
It says that I'm running a Pentium II Celeron A With a CPU speed of 400mhz. Under my bios info it says bios version: Award mudular bios v4.51PG I also know I have 128 Ram.

Ok OK awready, I was hoping that the first of Sept. we would start. Ridgerunr and Train - be advised I hold grudges, especially when I'm pushed. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
But being up to the challenge we will use this thread until this weekend at which time Operation Delta 2-001 will begin. The 2 is for the second computer built on this forum. The 001 and subsequent numbers indicates the thread we are currently in. The plan is simple. The computer will be based on the original specifications that the Queen of Hearts and I came up with as a result of intense consultations with the two original gurus on the first Operation Delta. Bistro and Train. I will post the list of components for your consideration and inspection as the thread starts. This is approximately a $1000.00 dollar unit. And as before there will be questions and comments every step of the way. How to's will abound.
Now the Weekly Subject will start up where we broke off in the corrupted thread, Chipsets and Controllers. Also this weekend.
JTDoom or DrMDJ or Train or Bistro or etc. etc. will recap the Weekly Subject threads up to this point if they wish to volunteer.
A simple brief review will get everyone up to speed and we can as Train did repost the previous threads. Again if a reader has a question we cover that and then continue on.

Queen of Hearts, Great to "see" you. Will need you if you can spare the time once in awhile. The three causes of my delay are now permanent fixtures but I still thru due diligence got the funds together. Couple of times I wondered. All you have to do is set a goal and you can accomplish it. And what the mind can conceive you can acheive and you, my favorite queen, are living proof and we will need your comments on a person starting out, knowing nothing(me too), and who becomes in a few short months a modding, overclocking, gamer of a high degree. What you can relate can materially help those starting out as we did. Again welcome, glad you're here.
