VBulletin 3 - Suggestions, queries, changes?... post them here

Thanks folks.....tried to find clear type in my desktop/properties, but it is not there in effects, appearance, or any other tab......maybe my W98SESp1...doesn't have it....which is ok....just wanted to see what folks were talking about......and yes usil, I tend to agree with you about the 'readability' of that search engine site......because of the stark white background the print looks darker and therefore easier to read, but the stark white is a little glarey(sp).......can't win fer losing, eh?

Yes, win98 doesn't have that feature. Usil, I don't know what lies in store for the homepage. That's up to another dept. and the site editor. As for the attachments, the members voted that they preferred that way, so I altered it.

poppy, for your future reference should you upgrade to XP (or for anyone else interested but unaware) here's M$ Clear Type

I have visited three forums that use the 3.07 vBulletin, and in the other two, using FFox 1.0.2, I can use 'thread tools", "search this thread', 'rating", and 'display mode", but here at VDR those links do not work for me!
Is this something that any others have experienced?.....
Is this a quirk here on the VDR board site?

I have no problems with this on any board when I use IE5.01sp1.

I tried with IE and FF....I really don't see any difference.

Who am I to talk? My glasses were made from the bottoms of Coca-Cola bottles....

It didn't take me too long to figure out that the width of the forum table stretching across the monitor is because my Firefox removes the ads on the right side (most of the time). Sorry for complaining about it :)

No problems with the dynamic menus here either. (Firefox 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, TabBrowser Extensions and lots of JavaScript features disabled to prevent popups and weird scripts from working.)

The upgrade seems to have installed the vBulletin logo as the favicon. Could it be replaced with the VirtualDr logo?

...after no one else had problems, I uninstalled, got a new download and installed, and I'm good to go.....everything works now.....do appreciate your replies....:D
