I wanted it to be Ol' Young but as I recall I couldn't use an apostrophe.
I sure like all the good people of VDr and the help they provide to us old timers.

Enki is one of the chief gods of the ancient Sumerian pantheon: Enki
I discovered him inZecharia Sitchins fine books based on his theory that there is a 10th planet in our solar system on which an advanced race of beings reside. Enki is one of the leaders of this race, which the Sumerians called the Annunaki.
So their you have it.

Well,,ok,,,you guys have humbled me into admitting it. I "could" say it was the funky lil' creature my Grandaughter liked so much on "Thundercats" called Snarf. But, in reality, it relates to an old joke that floated around in my high school daze(Waaayy back yonder https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ ) about the definition of a "snarf".i.e.a' guy that goes around sniffin' girl's bicycle seats on hot days https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
Don't know why that stuck in my head, but i was having such a' hard time finding a user name no one else had. And finally had to stick the two (ell's) on the end before it was accepted. Now,,it's followed me wherever i go online. One positive note? It's "never" been rejected anywhere i've needed a "user" name. Some consolation,huh? https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

My facination with speed, regardless.. pc's cars, aircraft ...had one manager I informed that the archaic pc we had, (radio shack) after I attempted to upgrade it's dos level which didn't work, but it had a built in bios which I jump started off the power plug to the hd after the boot started! and reverted it back to the previous version of dos.

Familiar story here:
While trying to come up with a user name for my very first online venture, I could not for the life of me come up with anything that matched my personality. Then it hit me! I have a 1975 Harley-Davidson Model FL. So, I figured that it was an OLDFL... https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Mine is simple, if A=1 then
P=16
H=8
I=9
L=12
G=7
O=7
Now if you add those numbers together then you get 67, then by adding the 6 to the 7 you get 13, add the 1 to the 3 and we are now at 4, then all I needed to do was divide that by 2 and you reach 2 which is the amount of fingers that I use to type with.
I'm an auto tech, so when I needed an "alias" I first tried "wrench", which of course was taken, so I went for Digital Volt Ohm Meter, otherwise known as a DVOM.

Well, this is my first trip into this thread. I knew it sounded OT and might "disappear", so I didn't bother. But the post count was getting kind of large so here I am.
Ghouldini -
Now you Michigan/Ohio/Pennsylvania types may recall this dude, Here's his web site going by the name of The Ghoul, who was a bad movie host doing all kinds of weird stuff between the movie and the commercials. He was big in Detroit, Cleveland, and Philadelphia. And is still on the air in Cleveland. He had many Aliases that made up his acts. Some you will see referenced at his site. One (not referenced) is "Ghouldini" which was his moniker for an occasional skit about a "Carsoni" knock off where he did things like Houdini and that Super Dave idiot, but I don't recall him actually doing a bit where he gave the answer before he opened the envelope with the question like Carson did. He did wear a hat like Johnny did. That name stuck in my head when I was looking for an eBay user name to use but all the others I came up with were taken already. That was before I came here. I later got me a couple of aliases to use around the web.
I grew up watching that fool in the 70's so now I am demented.

Because of my "WOOF"y armpits!!!
I am a big astronomy buff so one of the usernames I had picked was this one.
From Dictionary.com
par·al·lax n.
An apparent change in the direction of an object, caused by a change in observational position that provides a new line of sight.
2. (Astron.) The apparent difference in position of a body (as the sun, or a star) as seen from some point on the earth's surface, and as seen from some other conventional point, as the earth's center or the sun.

Wow! I feel I know you are a little more now; I am glad this thread was started.
My nick is a song title. I posted the lyrics here:
http://discussions.virtualdr.com/For...ML/047427.html
I was going to use ICUROK as a nick, which is a Klaus Nomi song ( I see you are okay) but the Cramps song God Monster seemed to fit me more. I use this nick everywhere, and on one IRC channel, can only use 9 charactors, so I left off the "e" because it seemed the least important letter in the title.
If you want to hear the song "God Monster" go to my site here: http://www.geocities.com/godmonstr/Cramps.html
