No, there are no temporary settings in TZ Editor. If you change a time zone and apply/save the changes, they will stay.

As for changes in 3 weeks, these issues are related to NON-PC items that could automatically adjust themselves for DST (like VCRs, etc.) They are set on the old DST timeframe and most can't be changed.

Once your PC has been corrected to the 2nd Sunday in March and the 1st Sunday of November DST change dates, you will not need to change it again unless Congress rescinds that time frame and makes another.

As for https sites, I don't remember reading about DST issues for them. But I suppose anything could be possible??? :)

1 2 3 ,Even I think i can understand that:) , To bad the 3 week conversation had to be added to make it confusing to "NON PC" items when we were in my mind trying to resolve pc items.:) Today is the magic day, i guess, i heard on the radio only a portion of countries affected so that only adds to the on going for others. Had it not been for this system on 98 it would have been a no brainer.

Well if it works that was like falling off a log, there was no reboot notice, just close window, settings set as needed, so when i reboot see what happens.
