Train,
Wonder if RAM is really dropping around here too. I'm going to check that out tomorrow. Might get me one piece for my collection https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Smelly, too.....gives me a headache.
How much did you see it for ?
Is P133 what I need too ?
Normally it depends on your mother board. What I am getting right now will go into this machine as it is backward compatable with P100. If it doesn't work there is always the new board. But it is the same price for P100 OR P133. $70

I want it for the NEW one. This money is burning a hole in my pocket.
Just wanted to make sure one size fits all. I'll take my list so "the salesman" will know what I'll be using it with.
If you have your list and it has the mb on it. You more than likely will wind up with P133.
From a hour drive to the North and 30 minutes to the South, it is basically a big city here. 6,000,000 people if I remember right.

Mosaic1: I'll have to forego on any dissertation about SCSI (pronounced "scuzzy"---term coined by a computer geek to describe not only a computer interface, but also their underwear after a 5-day camping trip) and IDE/EIDE. Sorry, but I'm a bit exhausted right now and think it's time to hit the hay. I'll go into it further tomorrow, if you wish, but suffice it to say for now:
"SCSI is fuzzy, so EIDE is for me".
More to follow.
Nite all--don't let the bed bugs bite. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Morning All, In the teens here this morning - invigorating? Something Mosaic said yeaterday caught my attention and that is that nothing is new .... That may be true except for the individual learning whatever.
And remember, if you are interested, nothing ever gets boring. Enough of that. Back to the coherent madness of building a computer.
I am particularly interested in Scuzzy etc. and await with bated breath. Picking hardware in this area is hard for me with so much there. Gnomes of knowledge come forth.
Have a great day. Enjoy https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
