I would add to the line "Check out some other great sites and forums at:" 'other great internet.com sites'. This change would differentiate plain adds from internet.com sites. -mk

Actually, I found it hurt the look and feel at the top. It's now at the bottom and I think it looks good there. I may put some straight text links up top, but the logos will stay below. Threads may show earlier looks until someone posts to them, making the cgi scripts rewrite the threads.
All 5 logos together only come to under 10k; and they are all stored on the local machine, so no additional server calls are needed. In other words, it should add almost no time to page loads.

I agree with you. The look is a lot better with them at the bottom.
A suggestion though.
The additional logos are well below where I would normally scroll on a page. At the bottom of each page is an amazing amount of wasted white space. Why not compress/rearrange some of this so that your new logos will appear higher up?

As I hinted at earlier, with UBB and with most comparable forum software, you don't actually code the HTML of the whole page or template. Instead, the the software controls the main content well of the site and generates forum info, threads, etc. based on information that has been entered into a control panel. What you then have the control to modify is what are designated as the "header" and "footer" of the site by entering that info into text entry boxes. This allows me to put a site's design template into the top and left rail as a "header" and the bottom and right rail as a "footer."
The area you are suggesting I put it into could only be modified by directly altering the cgi/perl scripts that handle not only the look of the main content well, but the interface as well... which I can do, but which is generally not recommended. Doing so would not only mean taking the risk of changing elements of the scripts, but would also change the look and feel of the interface on every page (where post and reply buttons are and how they look, etc.)
This is why the changes I make are generally to the 4 "borders" of the page and not to the main content well. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
