Train, I do not find such an item in the bios. I did however, find something called "wake timers" so I set it for 1:00 AM wake daily. So I'll see what that does.

Hibernate and sleep options have never been fool proof in any Windows version which why I don't use them.
I often time will leave my pc on during the weekend... But I turn it off all other nights. I don't want some four dollar fan to quit working and maybe kill the rest of the pc.
And there's the part how a nice fresh bootup clears out any cobwebs that might be hanging around.

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet do the same with this stubborn PC. However, over the years I have had a much better survival rate with leaving electronic equipment powered on continuously rather than powering off. Learned that in the years I was involved with amateur radio. Thanks guys, for all your input. Lets lay this one to rest........................
