If the hard drive and memory diagnostics showed no errors, but a reinstall of XP gives a blue screen error, then you likely have a hardware problem, possibly the motherboard. It may also be a driver problem of some sort. You will need to post the exact blue screen error message you are getting.

Is it possible that you are trying to install an incorrect driver? Or are you getting the Stop error during Windows installation?
Stop error during windows installation. was going to fix using repair option on installation but getting that stop error
Ran the hd diagnotics it said there was no prob
Are you getting the same Stop Error every time?
yes
It sounds to me more likely to be a hard drive problem than anything else. I think what I would try next is to zero write (sometimes called low-level format) the drive, using the maker's utility. That will put the hard drive back in the condition that it was when it left the factory, and should sort out any possible boot sector issues, etc..
what is maker's utilitly?
What brand of hdd do you have.?
western digital
