Hello Train, no uninstaller in the folder.
Been in there quite a few times to delete, as long as i know what to delete.
There is an entry in regedit, registry editor, HKey_local_machine hardware, H&H Zfrk i presume thats the one to delete? Cannot find any other ref, though, if there are, can you supply them to delete.
Thanks, GEP
Now go into the folder and R-click a few items and take a look at properties.
Take notes as to names and such. Particularly .exes and .dlls.
Now is if you can fine vcsplay.exe and vcssecs.exe in the folder. I found those names in research.
Then look in the regs at these locations.
Make sure that program is not listed in msconfig [stop it if it is.] and back up the regs before making changes.
HK_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HK_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
HK_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HK_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
Might even want to be in Safe Mode while dealing with it.
Back up {export} the regs so you can get back to where you are at if things go wrong.
Hello Train and all, went into safe mode, could not find the reg entries, or in Normal mode, the only one i found was in, HKey_Local_Machine\Software\H+H2frk
Do you want me to delete this??????
Do you think i should then delete the folder in System as well????
I have removed it from Start-up. It was listed.
Thanks, GEP
Make a backup of it, then delete it, that way you acn easily restore it if deleting it does cause problems.
Do as SS posted, then if you have no problems, after a few days, then delete the folder.
Or note where it is at and cut and move it to somewhere where it is safe and see if things work out OK first.
Hello Train.Supersparks, Liam, thanks for your advice, Gep
