If you want to know what version of DOS is with Win98SE type: ver then press enter at the command prompt.
It won't be 6.22

And when i type VER from dos all it does is say Windows 98 (4.10.2222) (98se)

When running Windows 95 through ME, the VER command returns the version of Windows that's running, not the DOS version. To determine the version of MS-DOS being used, try the command:

MSD /S

Windows 95 (95a) should report "MS-DOS Version 7.00", Windows 95 OSR2 (95B) through Windows 98 SE, "MS-DOS Version 7.10" and Windows ME, "MS-DOS Version 8.00".

(MSD.EXE = Microsoft Diagnostics)

Ahh i dont have that file (msd.exe) so i cant look it up that way so i guess ill have to go on what you guys have posted!

I guess i have Dos 7.1 :)
