Most kids have seen their parents / siblings nude. Does that mean they're all scarred for life ?
Yet they're exposed to 10 billion reports about some kid gunning down 32 people and that's considered normal.

7th graders would be about 12-13.
I will not be surprised if this thing ends with a deal being cut.....
I can see the prosecution offering to go along with a motion to have the conviction set aside in exchange for a promise from Amero to not seek another trial or file a lawsuit for wrongful prosecution and abide by a gag order. In other words....sweep the whole mess under the rug....
Or even more simply....uphold the conviction but no jail time in exchange for a no appeal/no lawsuit agreement. A bad deal for Amero, but likely something she would take just to get away from the whole thing.
If this woman goes to jail....it will be the greatest misacarriage of justice since the Dreyfus affair. :rolleyes:

If I remember correctly, this was a substitue teacher; so how could this have been her responsibility.
I don't think anyone can be blamed for spyware and the resulting popups. Who knows if schools even HAVE a sysadmin. It's unfortunate, but it happened, case closed.
When most of us were kids there was no internet and you would rarely see any naughty bits, now it's become a way of life. I work in a school and it's a never ending battle to try and safeguard the kids from the net, but at the end of the day they all have computers at home.
Exactly, there's only so much that can be done, and even if the schools do everything there is, kids have access to PCs outside of school. Many schools, at least in the US, have all they can handle paying for books and lunches, etc. They can't afford system administrators, unless we're talking about beverly hills or similar.

Excellent......but overturning the conviction is only half the battle, IMO. The other half is for the prosecution to drop the charges now...publically.....and also apologize.
Then....I hope she sues the pants off everyone involved for wrongful prosecution, civil rights violations and extreme negligence....
BTW....had there not been an public internet outcry over this...I bet this woman would be in a cell right now and none of us would have heard anything about it. How many other innocents are rotting in a jail right now?

As you said SS I doubt she wants anything to do with teaching ever again.
