Try deleting it and then reinstalling. I to go between FF and IE :)
Edit: go to Add / Remove.
You will see it listed as Windows Internet Explorer 7
Edit 2: It will revert back to your original IE6 settings

I have a friend who installed IE 7 and immediately after the installation, his computer started to crash. He had Kaspersky AV version 6 installed and he said that based on the research that he did, there are problems with IE 7 and AV vendors.
I don't know if this applies to all AV vendors or just to some.
Has anyone else had similar experiences and if so, how did you resolve the problems?
Linda
There may indeed be conflicts between an IE 7 installation and antivirus programs. MS specifically stated to turn AV's off while installing. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917925 (If I was going to turn off my security programs to load IE 7, I would make sure I was disconnected from the net. You do not need to be connected to the web to install IE 7!)
In my case, the PCs I have placed IE 7 on have either had no AV on them (new PCs) or had NOD32 running. Other than some minor URL icon issues (which they have ALL had), I haven't had any troubles...
Tried this?.... Open Internet Explorer, Click on Tools, Internet Options, the Advanced tab, and uncheck "Display a notification about every script error". Then check both "Disable Script Debugging" boxes.
