Ok, thanks Tuttle. I talked to someone else and they said they thought they had installed it on another partition only to find it went to their C drive. I don't want that, so thanks again for the help. I'll probably install this tomorrow.
That searchindexer.exe is a royal pain on memory usage, and it can be disabled in Services (Cotrol Panel OR Start|Run|Services.msc) and Windows Search Service needs to be stopped, and Right-Click|Properties, and from the dropdown select Stop.

Thanks for the tip Liam. I still haven't installed mine yet. Long story on why that I will be posting about here in our forum shortly..well, in a couple of days.
I tried to install it in Vista beta 2, but it won't accept the product key :( I'll have to see if I can get another key (I downloaded it from MSDN subscriptions). You certainly do have to jump through some hurdles to do beta testing sometimes
If you downloaded the media from MSDN, you need the key from there too. The MSDN Beta 2 version doesn't require activation like the public download does.
I feel such a fool :o I transposed two of the characters when I wrote the key down. It's happily installing as I type this :)
I think we've all mistyped a key at one time or another Nick. So, don't feel bad about it. As is the saying around here....it's happened to the best of us. ;)
