:o
in the end i had to do a clean install in windows as no matter what i tried it just would not let me repair it. so i re-installed it and all went well. when i logged onto the new windows i knew i had a lot of downloading ahead as i have all of my installation CD's at Uni. didn't think this would be a problem as i could download all the drivers i needed. unfortunately i forgot that in order to get onto the internet i would need to install my ADSL router. and that’s where it all came tumbling down. i don't have the CD as it's at Uni and i cannot find the software needed on the internet to get it to work.
so what i need to know is if there is any way to get the internet working without installing my router? eg. by using network wizard. also i don't have the mobo installation CD either so will it's Ethernet ports work without me using the mobo CD?
NB. Internet is BT 1MB ADSL, router; BT Voyager 2000 Wireless (using wired connection).
